These are photos of four of the persons involved in an "exorcism" case heard Tuesday at Leeds Crown Court in Britain. Michael Taylor, 31, second from left, was accused of mutilating and killing his wife, Christine, second from right, after an exorcism ritual carried out by the Rev. Peter Vincent, right, and the Rev. Raymond Smith, left. The jury found Taylor innocent of murder because of insanity, but the trial has sparked a sharp controversy over the role of the ancient ritual in the modern church.
