Four exceedingly interesting cannon in greatest collection in the world recently completed at Invalides Museum Paris, under supervision of General Mariaux. Left to right-(horizontal) French cannon of 15th century, worked on revolver pattern, shooting nine shots at once. The two held upright, artillery of Francis 1st tearing his arms. 2 (horizontal) Japanese cannon on wheel carriage to take recoil. XVIIth century.
