Found dead

Betsey Barton, 45, daughter of New York advertising executive Bruce Barton, was found dead today in the swimming pool of her home in Bel Air, suburb of Los Angeles. Detective said her companion told them Miss Barton had been despondent over ill health. She had been confined to a wheelchair since an accident in 1935, but was a good swimmer, police said. Her wheelchair was found at the bottom of the pool. Police said the death probably will be listed as accidental.
