Fossil Fish Disclosed in Granite. A perfect petrified specimen of fossil fish which was recently sliced from a slab of Utah granite by a workman in the California Cut Stone and Granite co, at San Francisco, Calif. It has been turned over to Dr. G. Dallas Hanna of the California Academy of Sciences. Dr. Hanna says the fish was buried in the sediments of an ancient Eocene age lake many hundreds of thousands of years ago.
