Former Major Leaguer Held--Ralph (Blackie) Schwamb, 23-year-old former St. Louis Browns pitcher, is questioned today after he was booked on suspicion of murder in connection with the slaying of a Long Beach, Calif., doctor on Wednesday. The victim, Dr. Donald Buge, was found in a deserted spot, beaten to death. Schwamb played with the Browns in 1948 and was with them in Spring training this year.
