Booked on charges of statutory rape, William M. Pettit, 33, hides bruised face as he enters jail. Pettit, disc-jockey who spent 65 days atop flagpole in publicity stunt for radio station and car dealer, was charged with aerial lovemaking involving 14-year-old girl high-school student. Charges were filed in justice of peace court after relative of girl beat Pettit on street. Note swollen right eye in photo.
