Homer Twins to Victory -- Minnesota Twins catcher Earl Battey (left), and right fielder teammate Bob Allison hold bats and wear smiles in clubhouse after their home runs lead the team to a 6-1 victory over the Detroit Tigers in an American League game last night in Twin Cities. Allison blasted two homers, one in fourth inning and the other in eight. Battey hit one in eight inning right behind Allison's. All three were with no one on base. It was Battey's 16th of the year. Allison, who leads league, got his 18th and 19th. He also is league leader in RBI's with 52 and runs scored with 53.
