Schenectady NY: Police worked the other side of the street today the second day of the IUE nationwide strike against General Electric Co. Overpowering numbers of non-union employees amassed this morning and were retained by police from making inroads into huge picket lines at the main gate of GE's largest plant here. GE executive is removed by police in photo lest he should start a wave of non-union workers (in background) intent on entering the plant.
