Marine Cpl. Mary Elizabeth Burns talks to reporters during a recess yesterday in a summary court martial in nearby Arlington, Va. Miss Burns, 21, from Grand Junction, Colo., refused further military duty on grounds she opposes war and killing. She was convicted and ordered restricted to barracks for 45 days, fined $20 and demoted to private. Execution of the sentence was stayed pending a review.
