Held on suspicion of forgery

Alfred L. Cline (left) of Columbus, Ohio, was held in city jail here today on suspicion of forgery as police began an investigation of the circumstances surrounding the death of his wife, Mrs. E. Delora Krebbs Cline, 65 (right), of Chicago, in Portland, Oregon last November 29th. Police revealed that Cline registered at a local hotel with an unidentified woman last Sunday. They also revealed that Cline was convicted of grand theft in San Bernardino County in 1934, was sent to Folsom and released in 1943.
