Held in slaying of 11-year-old girl

John Cabrera, 13, sits in car outside a New York police station after being booked yesterday in the slaying of an 11-year-old neighbor girl, Erica Sayers. Police said he told them he stabbed the girl with a bread knife after an argument over a lost key he had returned to her. The victim was the daughter of New Orleans television producer Eric Sayers and his former wife, Gabrielle Halpern, a model.
