This is Everett 'Deacon' Scott, speedy shortstop who once set a major league record of 1,307 consecutive games while helping the Boston Red Sox at New York Yankees win pennants between 1914 and 1925. He has not seen a major league game in ten years. His big interest is bowling and this photo shows him quickening his eye on his own alleys here for the American Bowling Congress opening at Indianapolis March 10.
