Montgomery, Ala., dec. 22--Frankie Mae Gunn, 16, was jailed at Montgomery, Ala., on suspicion of slaying her former employer, a white nightclub operator who had charged her with larceny last summer. John N. Davis, 55, was shot in his apartment adjoining the Plantation club. Davis' wife said a masked negro woman shot her husband and then tried to kill her but the pistol misfired. Police found about $4,000 in the slain man's pocket. An investigation is underway to determine if the shooting resulted from robbery or revenge.
