Kermit Owen Frazier, 34, (above) former Denver resident and described as a member of a prominent Winston-Salem, N.C., family is held in jail here in connection with the death of a wealthy widow and wounding of her twin daughters at nearby Atherton, Calif., last night. Mrs. Mary L. Thompson, 58, widow of a Denver and Chicago dentist was shot to death. Doris Thompson, 29, was shot twice in the abdomen and may die. Her twin sister, Sharle, was shot in her right hand and slugged on the head. District Attorney Fred Wyckoff said Frazier was once engaged to Doris while the family lived in Denver.
