Held in sex-slaying of child

John Henry Fay, 33-year-old steelworker, who, according to District Attorney A.C. Leslie, has confessed to the sex slaying of Carol Thompson, 5, near Landsdale, Pa., on May 12. Fay, the district attorney said, admitted attacking and strangling the little girl after picking her up in his automobile. The child's body was found several hours later in an abandoned well.
