Held in little girl's slaying

James Rooks, 15, is shown as he was booked at a Brooklyn police station today on charge of homicide in slaying of 9-year-old Lourdes Bass. The slain girl was raped on the roof of a Brooklyn housing project and then dropped 14 floors to her death. Rooks also was a resident of the housing project where the slain girl lived.
