Detroit - Mrs. Dorothy Syme, 23, a mother of three children, was held by police today in the fatal shooting of her husband after a quarrel at the dinner table. mrs. syme was quoted by police as saying she shot her husband, james, 28, because he called her a "lousy cook" and threw his plate of food on the floor of their apartment. she told police she became frightened at his actions and got a .22 caliber revolver and fired twice at him. police found syme dead in the driveway.
