Held in husband's death

Mrs. Patricia Jean Doherty, 26, is taken to a police station in Woodland Hills, a Los Angeles suburb, yesterday to be booked on suspicion of murder. Police said she told them she shot her husband, Robert Doherty, 29, eight times because he had threatened to shoot her or her daughter, Kathy, 6. He was found lying on the family davenport and died en route to a hospital.
