Spring Valley, Wis. -- Mrs. Jane Spengler, 38, mother of nine, charged with slaying her 45-year-old husband Earl with a shotgun, told authorities she "didn't mean to shoot him." Sheriff Roy Simonson said Mrs. Spengler told him she fired the blast during an argument.
