Herold D. (Muddy) Ruel, one of Walter Johnson's favorite catchers, and a law school graduate in his own right, died in his home here late 11/14 of a heart attack. He was 67. Ruel is shown as a player with the Senators in 1924 (Top) and in 1939 as a coach with the Cleveland Indians (Bottom).
