Held in connection with slaying

David Gene Bagby, (left) is questioned at police headquarters here today by Detective C.C. Petty after his arrest in connection with the slaying of Betty Herrington,22. The mutilated body of Miss Bagby was found in a wooded area here yesterday. Det. Petty said Price told officers that he had sexual relations with the girl, then quarreled. Price, a next door neighbor of Miss Bagby, is being held on a charge of suspicion of murder. Initials "R R," stand for Riverside Ramblers, a sandlot baseball team on which Price played third base.
