Portland, Maine -- Diane Cornish of Portland flexes her muscles for the camera after being praised for her role in helping to subdue a bus hijacker. Police said Miss Cornish, 26, distracted the gunman, then jumped for his arm while the driver jammed on the brakes and drove the vehicle into a guard rail. No passengers were injured. Kenneth J. Smith, 40, of Rochester, N.H., has been charged in the case.
