A group of protestors, sponsored by the United Church of Canada, meet near the U.S.-Canadian border at the Peace Arch 5/10 to protest American involvement in Cambodia and the Kent State University killings. A group of about 200 Americans line up on the U.S. side. Most of the Americans carried clubs and other weapons to prevent another invasion similar to one 5/9 when about 500 Canadians crossed into the U.S. protesting violently. No violence occurred 5/10.
