In the picture is the windmill from Valea Nucarii locality, Tulcea county, dating to the second half of the nineteenth century, transferred to the Village Museum in 1956. The mechanism is similar to wind-powered mills, consisting of the shaft, four wings, a pair of grinding stones and a wheel with the masks. The entire gear is in a construction of boards, placed on an oak hull, fixed in the high stone socket, of tronconic shape.
