Government Salvage of Hurricane Timber in New England. Adams Pond Derry N.H.; Farmers delivering the first batch of logs in Adams pond at Derry N.H. this pond will store about 4 million feet of lumber and is the first to be opened for storage in the government project. Each farmer has to build his own skids and pile his logs on the shore for the scaler to check and when they are checked the farmer must put them into the pond himself.
