Greta, the seventh tropical storm of the season, formed in the Atlantic east of here 9/4, with 55-mile-an-hour winds. Weather scientists said it may reach hurricane intensity within a day. The storm is reported to be moving northwest at a speed of about 14 miles an hour, and poses no immediate threat to any land area.
