First Negro stewardess

Joan Dorsey, 23, above, said in Dallas today she is eager to start work as an airlines stewardess. She will become the first Negro stewardess graduated from American Airlines' Stewardess College at Arlington, Tex., Monday. She is the daughter of a Flagstaff, Ariz., electrical fireman and building.
