Mrs. Frances Tate, victim of a home-made bomb a year ago, receives a gift of a first kiss from her daughter Beth at the little girl's first birthday party. the party was held at the hospital where Mrs. Tate has been since the bomb blew off her hands, impaired her hearing and shattered her eyes. her former husband, Willie Lavoy Tate, admitted sending the bomb and was sentenced to prison. when she opened the gift-wrapped bomb a year ago, Mrs. Tate thought it was a baby present.
