First Father-Son team. Comdr. Morris Abraham of Albert T. Wood Post 175, of Longmeadow, left, and Comdr. Paul C. Abraham of Sherman H. Bowles Memorial Post 371 of this city are believed the first father and son team in the country to lead two American Legion Posts at the same time. The Abrahams with a total of 45 years as Legionnaires, are Boston natives. The elder Abraham began his Legion service in 1920 as a charter member of Michael J. Perkins Post 67 of South Boston.
