The 21-year-old corporal who is from Grand Junction, Colo., is charged with refusal to wear her uniform and failure to report to a noncommissioned officers' school. She testified in her own behalf at the court martial, admitting she disobeyed military orders because, she said, she opposes all war and all killing.
