Marine Cpl. Mary Elizabeth Burns looks to her right as she walks ahead of a group of Marines during a recess today in her court martial in nearby Arlington, Va. The 21-year-old corporal who is from Grand Junction, Colo., is charged with refusal to wear her uniform and failure to report to a noncommissioned officers' school. She testified in her own behalf at the court martial, admitting she disobeyed military orders because, she said, she opposes all war and all killing.
