Ex-priest arrives for court hearing

Walter Ryan (right), ex-communicated priest whose wife is suing the Catholic Church for $2,375,000, arrives at Superior Court in San Francisco, today to appear on charges of failure to support his children. His suing wife, Alice, lives with her four children in Glenn Head, L.I. Ryan termed charges in her suit that the Catholic Church had spirited him away as ridiculous. He also said he had contributed more than $10,000 since leaving home in May of 1955. at left is his attorney, Thomas O'Brien.
