A panic-stricken mother, Mrs. Olga Marie Lewis, 25 told Temple City sheriff's that with her son, Gary Wayne, 20 months old, (left) she was driving toward her home when another car forced her to the curb. in the other car were her former husband, Harold Lewis (right) and an unidentified man. Lewis, she said, forced his way into her auto, seized he wheel and drove while the other car followed behind. she said he brandished a small blue-steel automatic and a cotton-filled box he said contained nitroglycerin. when he left her car with the child he said he would take him to Chicago.
