Globes How New "Worlds" Are Created In Germany Berlin, Germany -- For centuries scientists the world over have been seeking new planets and exploring those already discovered with their high-powered instruments. This interesting series of photos depicts how simply (used relatively) new "worlds" are made in one of Germany's largest globe-making factories -- from the making of the original spheres to the completion of the entire globe. Women are shown cutting up the printed sections of the "world" before they are pasted onto the globes.
