Ex-ambassador's daughter a suicide

In ill health for the past few years, Mrs. Augustus Smith Cobb, daughter of former ambassador to England George Harvey, shot and killed herself in her apartment in the St. Regis Hotel here. Her body was discovered by Mr. Cobb. Mrs. Cobb was formerly wed to Marcellus Thompson, heir to the Thompson machine gun manufacturer.
