Standing in profile with right arm raised, left hand on bosom, and eyes toward the sky, Erda prophesies the end of the Gods. On the left and below, the figure of Wotan, cut off and dressed in traditional costume, holds his spear with only its tip visible. He is turned away. Erda's figure is almost entirely scraped.
