Fire and Flood. Denver (Colo.) Post photographers, Albert Moldvay, won first prize of $250 in the second Fire Foto of the Year Contest sponsored jointly by the National Press Photographers Association and the National Fire Protection Association it was announced today by Percy Bugbee, General Manager of the NFPA. This picture was taken while Moldvay was on an air-borne mission from Denver to cover the 1951 devastating Kansas-Missouri floods. Working ceaselessly day and night Moldvay caught his prize-winning photo at the disastrous million-dollar Kansas City lumber yard fire on July 14.
