Everything was going well at the New York night club where Earle Sande, former turf king, was rehearsing for his debut as an entertainer recently until Earle heard the blare of a trumpet and decided to get away from the barrier in a hurry. Jack Dempsey, the mount, remembering that music hath charms to soothe the savage breast, is urging Jockey Earle to go easy with that baton-crop.
