Dr. Frances Knock, above, has developed a technique for "fingerprinting" cancers--offering promise of improved drug treatment. The clinical instructor is lecturing at the University of Illinois medical School in Chicago reported evidence that the differences of cancers in persons can be discerned by chemical tests, and that treatment should be guided by such chemical tests. The paper was released today by the American Chemical Society meeting in Atlantic City, N.J.
