William Bradford, came from Austerfield Yorkshire, England, was the son of William and Alice Bradford, and he was Governor of Plymouth Colony from 1621-1633, 1635-1637, 1639 to 1643, and 1645 to 1657. The Governor Bradford obelisk occupies a point commanding the fullest view of the town below. Burial Hill, Plymouth, Massachusetts.
