The Granny White House - erected by Sally Cummins White in the year 1824 on the site of the Leesville Massacre of 1813. A home, tavern, and block-house of historic importance. A gift to the state of Indiana by Mr. and Mrs. Everett Green, in memory of William Frank and Inman Gillen, brothers of Mrs. Green, all of whom gave their lives in the World War, and whose home this building is.
