A figure of a winged and clothed woman surrounded by radiating light descends toward the tomb of Delacroix. In her left hand she holds a palm and from her other hand she drops flowers. On the right, we can see the Paris skyline, from the vantage point of Père-Lachaise. On the grave is engraved the name of Delacroix.
