Girl's body found crammed in trunk on swank estate

The body of an unidentified pretty young blonde, believed to be between 18 and 25 years of age, is shown in Greenwich hospital today after her body was found jacknifed into an old steamer trunk on the swank Connecticut estate of Dr. James C. Greenway. In photo at right, examining the trunk and clothes worn by the girl are Arthur R. Ivey (left), assistant prosecutor for Greenwich; prosecutor Rocco R.P. Perna (center) and police chief John N. Gleason (right). The cause of death has not yet been determined, but police seemed certain she was murdered about three days ago. Labels on her shoes and on the trunk led police to contact authorities at Milwaukee, Wisc. and Petersburg, Va., in an attempt to trace her identity. Police said the trunk had apparently been driven to the scene and dumped on the estate.
