Graduates in Iron Lung-- Earl Rogers, 19, Valley Center, Kansas., kept up his high school studies and graduated this week from the Valley Center High School, despite his illness with polio and confinement in a iron lung. Earl smiles here as his diploma was presented by school board chairman, Byron T. Rowell. Earl's principal, L.E. Enterline (left) and Supt. John S. Sewars (center) helped bring commencement to the youth in his room at a hospital here. Earl's twin brother, Elmer, also graduated this week.
