Atlantic City, N.J. Lorraine May Lowder, of Aberdeen, Washington, has been chosen as the fairest in her state and will carry the state's banner in the forthcoming 'Miss America' beauty pageant at Atlantic City. 'Miss Washington' is a student at the University of Washington. Her father is an army colonel.
