Girl dies while dieting

Patricia Malm, 23, of Chicago suburban Lombard, Ill., is shown in this December, 1977, file photo. As far as her father is concerned, the liquid protein diet the girl was on is a prime suspect. Miss Malm, has taken off 83 pounds in a little more than 120 days, January 2nd, Miss Malm suffered a heart attack and died.
