Last of the Lamplighters-- Charles Foley, carrying his little ladder and plenty of matches walks around the 28-acres estate of the Cape Playhouse, and Cape Cinema conducted by Raymond Moore at Dennis, Mass, twice nightly, one to light and once to put out the old fashioned kerosene lamps in these antique lamp posts. He is probably the last of a once numerous body of lamp-lighters whose daily task was to light the way for late travelers. The Cape Playhouse is seen in the background.
