The Ginsberg Machine Co., Inc., 224 Fifth Avenue, N.Y. 1, N.Y. has recently been appointed sole United States distributor for the Newton HYDRATRUCK, a portable lift truck manufactured in London, England by Power Jacks Ltd. The HYDRATRUCK has found application in railway stations, docks, airports, warehouses, machine shops, factories, textile mills, foundries, stores and in practically every company, big or small, which must lift or lower heavy articles quickly, easily and cheaply. Among specifications on the HYDRATRUCK are a maximum load of 1120 lbs., a lifting range from 7" to 5' and time to lift to maximum height in less than one minute. It has a 6 degree downward platform tilt and a 3 degree upward tilt. It is available for four weeks delivery in both electrical power pump and hand pump lift, using a 3/4 H.P. motor to operate lifting jack. With many materials handling firms already appointed as territorial distributors, negotiations are now going on to complete the national distribution set-up.
