Gibson Brings Home The Margin of Victory-- St. Louis Cards pitcher Bob Gibson is greeted by handshakes as he crosses the plate after his grand slam homer in eight against the Giants. The homer was deciding factor in Cards' 8-6 win over faltering San Francisco. Three who scored ahead of Gibson turn to shake hands are Mike Shannon, Tim McCarver and Dal Maxvill. Behind them is Giants catchers Tom Haller.
