The immense cedar-shingled roof of the rain shelter and light gallery surrounds the rear of the seating area and extends to cover the ticket office. Seating 1800 persons in a manner reminiscent of ancient Greek theatres, sight-lines and acoustics are perfect. "Trail of Tears," the famous Kermit Hunter drama of the Cherokees in Indian Territory is a professionally produced combination of fascinating drama, spectacular dance, colorful costumes and unique lighting presented each summer. 4 miles S. and 1 mile E. of Tahlequah, Okla.
