On the right a building with a loggia above a lofty arched door. To the left a tower, plain below, ornate at the top. In the foreground on the left two palms rise from a mass of indistinct foliage. To the right, beneath a bench on which two men and a woman sit. Unfinished foreground and a dark sky ; the aquatint ground which produced this effect was removed before the issue of the published state.
